This is for those who wish to see the full version of the "poem" that I quoted a verse of in the last journal entry.

"Four Gods wait on the windowsill
Where once eight Gods did war and will
And if the Gods themselves may die
What does that say for you and I?

Now, three Gods wait on the windowsill
Where one God's blood was lately spilled
While black tongues lap at the spreading pool
And build the strength they need to rule

When two Gods wait on the windowsill
The wick of the world is burning, still
But when one God in triumph shouts
The candle of the world goes out

And when that candle, bare and white
Sheds at last its dancing light
Then we will rouse, with raiséd rod
To pierce the very house of God"
--The Quartet for the Dusk of Man

There are four gods that you *Kill* throughout the series.

I put kill in *'s because.... Let me put it this way:
three mortal men, Tycho, gabe, and you, without any holy artifacts, go and fight gods, one per game.
How can mortals kill immortals without artifacts? Maybe those guys actually ARE immortal.
            I don't know.

In the first game, the god you killed was Yom Kippour, the god of silence.
In the second, the god of gears, I don't know his name.
Not sure in the other ones, they haven't came out yet.

I highly recommend the game.

For those wondering, it's
Yog Korisp, god of healthy snacks
Yog Crimi, god of cream
Yog Kudl, god of kittens
Yog Supp, god of "being cool and just hangin' out, man"
Yog Sethis, god of silence
Yog Kathak, god of mechanism
Yog Modaigh, god of doors and transitions, and
Yog Ur, god of narration.

I use TVTropes and the fourth game for my sources.

Actually Tycho Erasmus Brahe and Jonathan Gabriel has several 'holy' artifacts at their disposition. And the god of gears name is Fruit Fucker Prime.

For my version of the game, the gods I've seen were as follows:

Yog Sethis, the God of Silence
Yog Kathak, the God of Mechanism
Yog Modaigh, the God of Doors

Still have no idea who the final God is, but whatever it's the god of, it can't be anything mainstream, since that's just not the way it works

If I recall correctly, Tycho says that should they sever the worldly ties (giant Cthulhu mime robot and fruit fucker prime) the gods are killed.

And I'm pretty sure you face the god of doors directly in episode three, as you fight him on the Precipice.

P.S: I remember shouting all kinds of profanities at the screen when I came face to face with the final cliffhanger at the end of episode 3...

The mime god they do kill with artifacts, the ones Anne made for them (though they all break which tragically makes killing the later gods harder) And the first god wasn't Yom Kippour, which is a religious holiday... it was Yog Sethis.

Great to see this in an organized place.

One little thing though, that made me laugh.
Yom Kippour is a Jewish Holiday, Yog Sethis is the "Silent One".
Also, the second one is Fruit Fucker Prime.

Finally, seeing as this was posted a year ago, the 3rd one is out.

Wait, how did you get the last verse 3 years ago?

Pfft, wait, that's stupid. Misread that last sentence.

Lol. Nearly finished it too, by the way. It's pretty cool!
